The season starts today, first guests starting their boating holiday in Friesland . Guests from Germany and Belgium leaving our harbour.

14.02.10 Yachtcharter Sneek at the fair BOOT HOLLAND 2010 in Leeuwarden

This year we are with a very small stand at the fair BOOT HOLLAND in Leeuwarden. We are there in combination with SEFF (Stichting elektrisch varen in Friesland). SEFF is working together with Friesland for more boats here with electrical engines. On this big stand there are several frisisan and dutch companies too, which are able to build in hybrid motor in a boat.

"Warm welcome on board" it was on Friday for Mario Mrohs and vriend. They won a competition in january at the boat fair Düsseldorf Germany. Their price was a weekend on SIMMERSKIP 900 OK.
At their arrival onboard they got a nice bouquet from Greta.

Now you can go to Hindeloopen, on the eleven towns route Friesland, with a boat from our company too. Two bridges are rebuilt (have a look at the map) with a vertical clearance from about 3 meters, you sail from Koudum (de Morra) via Yndyk in direction Hindeloopen, a very nice harbour on IJsselmeer ....

Electric drive for Zuiderzee Museum Enkhuizen Boeier TJET RIXT

We feel it as a compliment that the Zuiderzee museum Enkhuizen gave us the confidence, to equip the TJET RIXT, the oldest sailing Boeier (1843) in Netherland, with an electrical engine.
At the maritime weekend 15./16.08.09 at in the Zuiderzee museum you can see this splendourful ship (with new electric drive) sailing in Enkhuizen.
