4 - days trip by narrow boat direction north
This route brings you to the north of Friesland. You sail on wide
waters, narrow canals and rivers, wide lakes, along nice little
villages and towns, as for instance Dokkum. This town is the most
northern town of the Netherlands. After this you sail to Leeuwarden,
the capital town of our province, where you can pass the night in
the Prinsentuin.
This route is very suitable for beginners on narrowboat. The first
days you sail on wide waters and you won't come across any locks
on this route neither. According as you follow the route and get
more experience the skills will grow per day..
