The Ghent-Westroute runs from the port of Ghent on the world heritage city of Bruges (one of the most beautiful cities in Europe) between the winding alleys and romantic canals of Bruges encounter a wealth of museums, which reflects in turn form an impressive image of the city's stirring history. Then you reach Oudenburg, a small town with about 9,000 inhabitants. Oudenburg landmark visible for miles are the Church of Our Lady and an old Abteihof from 1671.
About Veurne (capital of the district) and the turn around Diksmuide you go to the Belgian North Sea coast, to Ostend. Ostend is also known as the "Queen of resorts" and is a vibrant city with its picturesque corners, a cozy entertainment area and a varied cuisine with about 300 restaurants. From here, with an overnight stay in Beernem you come back to our port of Ghent.
