Experience the winter in Friesland, on board of a motoryacht. The winter route is an addition of our "normal" route suggestions, which can be sailed in the season with our motoryachts. Because our yachts have a very low vertical (2.40 m) we offer usually the possibility to sail in the winter also with a yacht. From 01. of November till the end of March the bridge opening times are strongly reduced in Friesland. The bridges are only served on order. Due to the low passage height of our motoryachts you have still a large sailing area in Friesland. We prepared a varied route for you which can be sailed also in the winter.

The places, which we recommend for overnight accomodation are also in the winter animated, that means business and also restaurants are opened. Differently with our normal routes you must adhere to the prepared route and keep also the ports, which we indicate for overnight accomodation. The route you see on the map left.
There are two different motoryachts available in the winter:
SIMMERSKIP 950 AK for 4 ½ persons
SIMMERSKIP 1200 AK*cruise-hybrid for 6 persons.
It’s only possible to rent complete weeks, starting Saturday at 10.00 o'clock, return Friday at 16.00 o'clock.

Prices:
SIMMERSKIP 950 AK = 775.00 euro
SIMMERSKIP 1200 AK*cruise = 1,200.00 euro

The special renting conditions see below.

The special renting conditions:
1. Rents with ICE-FREE WARRANTY, you book the selected engine yacht with us. If the winter becomes strong and the water freezes, or however the weather forecast have announced storm,
you can cancel the contract without problems, we refund immediately amounts already
deposited. No costs arise for you in the case.
2. Likewise we (Yachtcharter Sneek) reserve the right to cancel the journey in the case, if the
waters are freezing, even if the weather forecast announces temperatures beneath the
freezing point for during the day, or if storm is announced for the week with continuous wind
force 5. Of course we refund contributions already paid if the contract by us to must cancelled.
3. You are obligate to sail the given route. If necessary, we organize bridge openings,
possibilities for fill up drinking water tanks... for you...
